;The stagnation in wage growth, even declining back to the level of 1998, is the most serious problems Taiwan has recently faced. This paper linked 2001 and 2006 data files that are drawn from the annual manufacturing plants surveys conducted by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs to explore that whether firms increasingly using triangular trades are the main reason to cause wage stagnation in Taiwan. This is the first paper to discuss the relationship between the triangular trade and wage growth rate, and the first one to estimate the effect of profit on wage. The results show that if firms do the triangular trade, the wage growth rate of their workers will be less than that of workers in firms who don’t. In the other hand, a NTD$1,000 increase in profits per person of firms then others firms will significantly increase 26% of wage growth in the absence of the triangular trade group, no matter the firms do the triangular trade or not. However, due to triangular trades prevailing and firms′ profit growth rate decreasing, wage growth rate in taiwan grows slower and slowe
