本篇研究的主題為專利對與太陽能光伏專利相關聯之新公司的創立之影響,資料來自WEBPAT蒐集所有有關太陽能光伏(Photovoltaic)之專利,再找尋持有專利之上市上櫃公司進行分析。分析方法主要有三種,複迴歸分析、追蹤資料分析與Poisson迴歸模型。 實證結果中,專利數量的增加將導致了廠商數量的上升。造成此結果的原因可能是知識外溢效果的原因,也可以說外部性。現在專利發布及申請都需要提供完整的說明書以及適用範圍,這些資料皆會在網路上公開,不論是USPTO又或是我國之經濟部智慧財產局皆可查詢各個專利,此時適用於本產業的知識儲備將會上升。專利的增加將產生新的技術機會(Technological opportunities)這些技術機會將會吸引新進廠商加入市場。 ;The topic of this study is the impact of the patent on the foundation of the new firms that are related to the Photovoltaic patent. We collected information of all the patents that are related to Photovoltaic from WEBPAT, and sifted the listed companies that have the patents to analyze. There are three main analysis methods: multiple regression analysis, panel data analysis and the poisson regression model. From the results of the empirical model, we found that the increase in the number of the patent will cause the increase in number of the firm. This result might be caused by the knowledge spillover effect, which can also be said as the externality. The release and the application of the patent need to provide the complete manual and the scope of the application nowadays, and these data would be disclosed on the internet. The information of every patent can be search on USPTO or The Intellectual Property Office of Taiwan, and consequently raise the storage of the knowledge which is apply to this industry. That is, the increase of the patent will create new technological opportunities, and these technological opportunities will attract the new firm to enter the market.
