Abstract:	隨著創新訊息技術和應用的快速發展，各種資通訊技術的融合推動了智能城市的蓬勃發展，從而提高經濟增長勢頭。眾所皆知，台灣在網路基礎設施和資通訊產業是屬於高度發展的地區。因此通過此研究計畫，我們期待與東南亞地區的學者合作，共同組建研究小組以研究前瞻資通訊技術。在與泰國Kasetsart 大學的學者一起檢視了東南亞人民的實際需求之後，我們共同認為“物聯網居家照護系統：網路架構、服務功能及雛形實作”，一個採用物聯網技術的新一代居家照護系統，是一個值得發展的新議題。根據我們對未來智能生活發展的共識，我們的研究包含以下涉及物聯網技術的三個主要部分和規範，分別是(a)具備物聯網技術支持的前瞻網絡架構、(b)居家照護系統之服務功能，以及(c)居家照護情境的概念驗證之雛形實作。我們將逐年進行這些研究項目，使得發展的系統能由單一居家照護系統延伸至多層次結構之社群型居家照護系統，並期望最終能展示有關居家照護情境的示範案例。 ;With the rapid development of innovative information technologies and applications, the integration of various ICT technologies leads to the development of smart city, thereby enhancing economic growth momentum. Taiwan (R.O.C) is widely known in the world for high-level development of network infrastructure and ICT industries. Through the research program, we expect to cooperate with scholars in Southeast Asia areas and then team up a research group for advanced research in ICT fields. This project considers the practical demand of Southeast Asian people as a result of reviewing different applications together with some of academic researchers in Kasetsart University, Thailand. With their efforts, we identify a new topic, as titled “IoT-based Home Care System: Architecture Design, Service Functionality and Prototype Implementation,” which is a new generation of smart home care system that its services and capacities will be augmented by the Internet of Things (IoT). Following our consensuses on the future development of digital lifestyle, our study will take in three major components & specifications regarding IoT technologies, including (a) Advanced network architecture with IoT support, (b) Home care service functionality and (c) Proof-of-concept prototype implementation with home care scenarios. All these major components & specifications will be proceed year by year so that the developed system can be extended from a single home care system to a hierarchical community-based home care system. We expect to exhibit some demonstration cases regarding the home care scenario finally.
