Abstract:	科技部自然科學及永續研究發展司下轄數統、物理、化學及大地科等四大學門，並細分為十餘個不同領域的子學門，各學門由自然司遴選合適專家學者擔任召集人，召集人再協助邀請具代表性研究人員組成審議委員會，負責各項相關業務的推動與執行。數學學門劃分為純數組與應數組，兩組各設置召集人一名，統籌負責相關審查業務。本計畫目的為推動數學學門應數組各項業務的順利執行，持續推展國內應用數學研究和學術活動，並關注國際發展趨勢，規劃學門未來重點研究方向。本計畫執行期間的具體工作項目大致如下：(1) 各類專題研究計畫申請案及吳大猷獎之學術審查。 (2) 協助科技部審查與數學學門有關的各項申請案。 (3) 推動數學重點研究專案計畫並協助其審查。 (4) 審查學人來台短期訪問及技術指導、延攬研究人才及出席國際會議等申請案。(5) 出席學門召集人會議，協助科技部相關業務之推展。(6) 其他相關業務之規劃與推動，並視需要舉辦各類相關座談與說明會。 ;The main purpose of this proposal is to support the PI to develop and promote the applied mathematics research and related activities in Taiwan. The specific work items include the followings: (1) In charge of reviewing all submitted research proposals and other related applications;(2) Introducing and promoting the cutting-edge frontier research directions to the mathematical community; (3) Identifying some top-down main theme proposals to the community; (4) Assisting other MOST reviewing activities; (5) Promoting the interdisciplinary collaborations between mathematics and other science communities.
