    Title: 含三價釤鋱配位聚合物內能量轉移過程之再研究;Reinvestigation of Energy Transfer Processes in the Coordination Polymer Containing Trivalent Terbium and Samarium

    Abstract: 本實驗室以中溫水熱法合成R2(C8H10O4)3配位聚合物,配位中心R為不同莫耳比例之三價稀土元素釔(Yttrium, Y)、鋱(Terbium, Tb)及釤(Samarium, Sm) (R = Y, Tb, Sm)所組成;而配位基C8H10O4 (1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate,簡稱CHDC)。先前在SmxTb2-x(CHDC)3化合物中,觀測到Sm3+和Tb3+放光衰退曲線皆和Sm3+濃度有關,但無法驗證Tb3+和Sm3+之間是否有能量轉移。因此本篇論文以不同激發波長和新的實驗條件取得SmxTb2-x(CHDC)3及YxSmyTb2-x-y(CHDC)3配位聚合物新的放光光譜(emission spectra)及放光衰退曲線(emission decay curves),分析及比較這些新的光譜資料可確認Tb3+會傳遞能量給Sm3+,其轉移機制為上能階能量轉移(upper state energy migration),而其能量轉移效率(energy transfer efficiency)則取決於Tb3+-Tb3+之間的能量傳導。此外,還發現此類含Sm3+及Tb3+之配位聚合物內有多光子的能量轉移現象。;Coordination polymers, R2(CHDC)3, were synthesized using mid-temperature hydrothermal synthesis. The coordination center, R, is the trivalent rare earth elements: Yttrium (Y), Terbium (Tb), or Samarium (Sm) with different compositions, and the ligand is 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate (C8H10O4, CHDC). Previous study found the emission decay curves of Sm3+ and Tb3+ are correlated with Sm3+ concentration, but no conclusion on the existence of Tb3+→ Sm3+ energy transfer. In this thesis, new emission spectra and emission decay curves of SmxTb2-x(CHDC)3 and YxSmyTb2-x-y(CHDC)3 are acquired at new excitation wavelength and experimental condition. Analysis and comparison of these spectroscopic data verify the Tb3+→ Sm3+ energy transfer. This energy transfer process is an upper state migration and its energy transfer efficiency is dependent of Tb3+- Tb3+ energy hopping. In addition, a new multiphoton energy transfer process was found in these coordination polymer compounds.
