    Title: 碟式剎車卡鉗之靜態有限元素分析;Static Finite Element Analysis of Disk Brake Caliper

    Abstract: 本論文依甲公司提出的三個工況,針對碟式剎車卡鉗進行靜態有限元素分析,以供未來其他型號剎車卡鉗分析或設計時的參考依據,並提供一個卡鉗的標準模擬流程。本研究所分析的第一個工況為卡鉗逐漸增加油壓時觀察有無破壞或異常;第二個工況為卡鉗逐漸增加油壓時量測其本體上的位移;第三個工況為施予逐漸增加車輛的減速度至24.0m/s^2時,卡鉗所受的等效扭矩及剎車油壓,並檢查有無任何破壞或異常。本研究前、後處理主要使用的軟體為MSC Patran,而分析軟體為MSC Nastran,其中剎車時卡鉗總成受到的負載數值由剎車動力學推導出。
    模擬結果顯示,某些模擬設定對von Mises應力最大值及位移最大值影響較大,在選擇時需要考量。例如:連接卡鉗本體與卡鉗支持架的導向銷對結果的影響不容忽略,但工況二例外;最大應力通常發生在油壓室內的幾何轉角處及卡鉗本體爪子上;第三個工況中碟盤施予來令片的摩擦力在分析時不可忽略;另外,在後續的最佳化分析中顯示可將卡鉗本體中央上的孔洞面積稍微加大,以減輕重量且不太影響其上的應力分布。
    ;This thesis used the static finite element method for a disk brake caliper according to three test conditions proposed by the Company. The purpose of the research is to establish a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of simulation analysis for designing calipers. These test conditions are for examining stresses and displacements under extreme conditions. The software used in the pre-processing and post-processing of this research was MSC Patran, and the analysis software was MSC Nastran, where the loads applied to the caliper assembly was derived from the braking dynamics.
    The results show that some simulation settings have greater influences on the maximum von Mises stress value and maximum displacement value, while others do not. The guide pin, connecting the caliper housing and the caliper bracket, should always be considered, except for the second test condition. The maximum von Mises stresses usually occur at the geometric corners in the oil chamber and the fingers of the caliper housing. On the other hand, the friction, applied to the lining pads by the disk, could not be negligible while analyzing the third test condition.
