    Title:

;Sanshan Kings temple′s resarch of Hsinchu County
    Abstract
Based on the research results of prominent scholars, this study first discussed the religious patterns and ethnic distribution of the Sanshan Kings temples in Mainland China, and then discussed the development of the religion after those ancestors emigrating from Mainland China to Taiwan.
The text mainly focuses on the belief of the Sanshan Kings temples in Hsinchu County. Because reclamation and faith are closely related, the author first traced back the history of Hsinchu County’s development, and then the information obtained from the field investigation and interviews to construct the relationship among the temples of Sanshan Kings, the process of reclamation, and those immigrants.
During the section of discussion, it was found that the spatial distribution of the Sanshan Kings’ Temples in this area was mainly located in the middle and upper reaches of the Touquin River. In addition to the ancestral hometown and beliefs of early immigrants, there were also dilemmas of reality and needs, indicating that the belief did have the function of ethnic identification.
Finally, in order to understand whether the development of the temples have changed since then, the author chose the Zhongsheng King temple and the Baoshan Xinfeng temple, both of which belong to the Daai district (defense organization), for comparison in time and space. Whether it is the initial construction of the temples, the formation of the sacrificial circle, or even the development and management of the temples, it is the most relevant to "people".
