    Abstract: 歐利維耶‧畢(Olivier Py)是亞維儂藝術節(Festival d’Avignon)的現任總監,致力於推廣群眾與演員能相互同樂的當代劇場。畢擅長以「過度戲劇」(le théâtre de l’excès)及詩意的寫作手法建構出獨特的戲劇風格。
    本研究將以戲劇理論及格雷馬斯(A. J. Greimas)的施動者模型(le schéma actantiel)為出發點,探討歐利維耶‧畢的寫作風格及《奧蘭多或急切之心》(Orlando ou l’impatience, 2014)一劇中主角的無盡尋父之旅。畢透過主角尋找父親的旅程討論戲劇及人生之意義。在舞台呈現上,他運用大量的場景轉換、無限延伸的燈光效果等手法將人物的對話、動作及走位清楚呈現在觀眾眼前。
    論文第一章藉由戲劇歷史的流變分析畢的多元寫作風格,以及戲劇文本中非典型的演出指示(演員的走位及肢體動作)和人物的重複性對話所帶來的效果。第二章著重劇本中的角色和重複性場景。透過各個角色的雙重身分、人物相似性及每幕看似混亂卻富含主題性(人生觀、戲劇觀)的反覆對話,來剖析無盡迴旋(la mise en abyme)的效果,並進一步探究主人公自身的存在及自我意識。第三章藉由分析主角、父親與部長間的關係及旅程中遇到的助力與阻礙,探討這趟尋父之旅的深層意涵。;The current director of the Festival d’Avignon, Olivier Py, dedicated to promoting a contemporary theatre where people and actors can enjoy the performance together. He adopts the style of the Theatre of the Excess and poetic writing techniques to construct a unique dramatic style.
    This thesis will use the theories of drama and the actantial model, developed by A.J. Greimas, to analyze Olivier Py’s writing style and the endless father-seeking journey of the protagonist in Orlando ou l’impatience (2014). In this text, Py explores the meaning of drama itself and that of life. On the stage, he uses a large number of scene changes, infinitely extended lighting effects and rehearsal techniques in front of the audiences, so that they can enjoy the drama with the actors.
    In the first chapter, with the evolution of theatre, we strive to understand Py’s writing styles, especially his atypical performance instructions. The second chapter focuses on the characters and repeated scenes. Through the dual identity of the characters and the repeated dialogues, we attempt to analyze the effect of the mise en abyme. In the final chapter, through the relationships between Orlando, fathers, minister and other characters, we strive to explore the significations of this unique journey.
