    摘要: 伯公,原來是民間對自然的崇拜信仰,而在華人社會中,總是喜歡將神明予以人格化進而神格化,而加以傳說讚揚。
    民間對土地公的信仰,人數最多,而且民間對土地公祭拜的信念也隨著時代背景的變遷而逐漸改變,土地神也不僅是耕種的農人祭拜的神,由於祂能保佑人致富,而轉化為財神,也受到各行各業的敬仰、成為現代社會各階層人士普遍祭拜的神明。
    祭祀圈的定義包含了區域、信眾、神祉、信仰,等四大要素所組成的,在這共同因素之下,所形成的社會及宗教活動力量,謂之祭祀圈。而信仰圈除了涵蓋祭祀圈組成因素外,其影響力超過鄉鎮區域範圍,信眾居住範圍也跨越縣市範圍。
    南山福德宮創建於清乾隆二十年(1736年),距今已約有兩百八十多年的歷史,面積約有七十餘公頃,當時以石板三塊供奉福德正神,經過多次的整建擴展,現在已發展成宮廟组織,並為24小時開放膜拜,信眾人數及區域遍及全台。
    社會的組成結構變遷,人們對宗教信仰,有選擇與自主性且多樣化,土地廟雖然分佈最廣,信眾人數最為普及,然而時代的演進與變遷過程中,土地公信仰也隨之變化,但是其對教化社會勸人為善的宗旨,守護鄉土護佑生靈之心是不變的。
    ;Bogong was originally a folk worship of nature. In Chinese society, people tend to idolize and apotheosize the Almighty, and further folks give praise to God. A large of the population believe in Tudigong (土地公 "Lord of the Soil and the Ground") or Tudishen (土地神 "God of the Soil and the Ground"). As time goes by, Tudishen is a tutelary deity of a locality and the human communities who inhabit it in Chinese folk religion; on top of that, Tudishen has become a god of wealth admired by all walks of life in modern society.

    The definition of the sacrificial circle consists of four major elements: region, believer, san zi, and faith. Under such common factors, the so-called sacrificial circle is formed with the social and religious activities. In addition to the abovementioned, the belief circle has more influence that could far surpass the township area, and furthermore the living area of the believers would reach out the scope of the county.

    Nanshan Fude Temple was founded in the Twenty Years of Qing Dynasty Emperor Qianlong (1736). Until now it has been 280 years. With an area of about 70 hectares, at that time three pieces of slate were used to worship the local Earth God, known affectionately as Tudigong. Though many times of construction and expansion, Fude Temple has now developed into a temple group, and it is open 24 hours a day that folks can worship anytime; the faith power has been penetrated the whole country.

    With the shift of the composition of society, people have autonomous and diversified choices of religious beliefs. With a large number of believers, the Tudigong temple is the most widely distributed. As time goes by, the belief in Tudigong has the evoled; however, it never change to encourage people to be good and guard the soul and keep pure mind.
