    Abstract: 在先前的研究中,Williams的研究團隊於2003年發表了一系列的N^C^N型配位之鉑錯合物,於配位基苯環5號位置進行取代基的變化,其中一個鉑錯合物以噻吩環作為取代基(PtS),其放光光色橘紅色。由於我們預期製作混合白光元件,因此我們以PtS作為參考,設計合成以呋喃環作為取代基之鉑錯合物,藉由呋喃較為缺電子的性質,希望合成出之鉑錯合物放光波長能夠藍移,放出黃綠色的光色,搭配高效率藍色螢光材料製作混合白光元件。
    再藉由在分子的不同位置上擺上不同數目之tert-butyl group,去控制分子之間的堆疊,進而去控制分子因堆疊/活化雙體所放出之長波長放光,達到雙放光的效果。但由於呋喃系列之鉑錯合物在合成上碰到困難,無法合成出足夠的量去製作白光元件,而噻吩系列之鉑錯合物的放光波長太長不適合用於製作白光元件,因此最後我們製作了噻吩系列之鉑錯合物的單光元件去分析其效率,且針對呋喃系列之鉑錯合物進行了物性的分析以及嘗試解決合成上碰到的困難。
    ;J. A. Gareth Williams has reported a series of cyclometalated platinum(II) complexes containing N^C^N coordinating ligand which is based on 1,3-dipyridylbenze, incorporating aryl substituents at the central 5 position of the ligand. One of them incorporates 2-thienyl group at the central 5 position of the ligand (PtS), which emits red-orange light.We choose PtS as our reference and replacing 2-thienyl group with 2-furanyl group to let it wavelength blue-shift to make hybrid white organic light emittind diodes (WOLEDs) becsue PtS’s emission wavelength is too long .The reason we choose furan to be a aryl substituent because 2-furanyl group is a electron withdrawing group comparing to 2-thienyl group that can emit yellow-green light. Therefore, making a hybrid WOLEDs device with a high efficiency blue fluorescent material and phosphorescent material which can emit dual emission is our study
    On top of that, we try to control the aggregation level among theses Pt complexes by designing different numbers of tert-butyl group on theses Pt complexes structure, making theses Pt complexes emit red light,achieving a dual emission because of aggregation/excimer. However, we face some problems when we synthesized Pt complex with furanyl group making we can not synthesze enough Pt complexes to make WOLEDs device.We try to deal with the problems on synthesizing Pt complex with furanyl group and fabricating the single light device of Pt complex with 2-thienyl group.
