Abstract:	本文使用台灣 2012-2019 年間 41 家金融業上市櫃公司作為研究對象，探討金融科技發展對於金融業之技術效率、就業與員工組成之影響。以金融科技專利來衡量金融科技並採用隨機生產邊際模型估算的技術效率進行實證發現，金融科技發展確實能增加金融公司的技術效率。在就業方面，與過往的文獻結果並不相同，本文結果顯示金融科技的發展增加了金融公司對於勞動的需求。另外金融科技的發展，會使得金融公司對於高學歷或高技術勞工的需求增加。;This thesis investigates how financial technology (Fintech) affects technical efficiency (TE) and employment profile in the financial industry based on 41 listed financial companies in Taiwan for the 2012- 2019 period. Using the technical efficiency calculated from the stochastic frontier model, this study finds that Fintech patent, the measure of financial technology, is positively associated with TE. Our empirical results also report that Fintech is positively related to labor demand in financial companies. Finally, the firm tend to hire a higher ratio of graduate educated employees along with the increase in Fintech innovations
