Abstract:	Incremental learning的研究為近年來AI領域所關注的重要課題之一，本計畫前兩年將建置incremental learning應用於影像分類模型與物件辨識的模型，解決現有模型無法既保留舊知識又能有效的學習新知識、需要額外儲存空間、動態適應力差等問題，並於計畫第三年將提出的模型建置於兩個AOI瑕疵檢測應用，真正將incremental learning技術實現於產業，進行效果驗證。本計畫不僅解決人工智慧模型學習新知識時遭遇的Catastrophic forgetting問題，其研發成果更可作為學術與產業導入incremental learning AI的示範性案例。
