    Title: 聚酯產業循環經濟商業模式之探討-以F公司為例

    Abstract: 近年來,全球面臨氣候變遷、地球暖化、生態破壞等危機日益嚴峻,背後原因為自工業革命以來,人們追求以大量生產、大量消費帶動國內生產毛額(Gross Domestic Product, GDP)經濟成長的線性經濟與社會活動已經漸漸超過地球環境的承載,大自然發出反撲的力量,地球已岌岌可危。
    為徹底解決傳統線性經濟產生的問題,社會必須重新建立一種全新的經濟發展模式,這便是循環經濟概念的啟蒙,強調經濟成長與資源耗用脫鉤,藉由改變商業模式的設計和提升能源與資源使用效率,從源頭即思考環境汙染的影響和衍生的廢棄物,重新打造一套可循環再生的經濟和產業運作系統,使資源能夠在產業系統內循環再生。
    台灣在全球供應鏈扮演關鍵力量的地位,其中在聚酯產業中,長期是重要研發與專業供應商角色,因此,本研究選取聚酯產業中的指標性F公司,從傳統線性經濟朝循環經濟發展的過程,利用回收寶特瓶再製成全新產品的成熟技術,開創符合循環經濟概念的全新商業模式成功案例探討。本論文採用個案研究、文獻分析的研究方式進行探討,檢視個案公司在國內外發展循環經濟商業模式的關鍵要素,結合Lewandowski(2016)提出的循環商業模式圖,歸納其獨特運營模式與運作機制,期望個案公司在新商業模式活動中能夠持續保有競爭力,為聚酯產業的永續發展做出最佳典範,同時提供相關產業作為發展循環經濟商業模式之參考依據。;In recent years, the world has faced increasingly severe crises such as climate change, global warming, and ecological destruction. The underlying causes can be traced back to the Industrial Revolution, where the pursuit of linear economic and societal activities driven by mass production and consumption to boost Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth has gradually exceeded the environmental capacity. The Earth is now in danger.
    To solve the problems caused by the linear economy, society must create a different economic development model. The circular economy concept emphasizes decoupling economic growth from resource consumption by redesigning business models, enhancing resource efficiency, and preventing pollution. The purpose is to create a recoverable, renewable system, allowing resources to circulate within the ecosystem.
    Taiwan plays a crucial position in the global supply chain, especially in the polyester industry, where it has long been a key player in research and development and a supplier. This study focuses on a leading company in the polyester industry, exploring its successful transition from a linear economy to a circular economy. The company pioneers a circular business model by using advanced technology to recycle PET (Polyethylene terephthalate, PET) bottles into new products. The thesis adopts a case study approach, document analysis to thoroughly examine the key elements of the company′s circular economy business model both domestically and worldwide. By integrating Lewandowski′s (2016) Circular Business Model, the study identifies the unique operational modes of the case company, aiming to sustain its competitiveness. This research serves as an exemplary model for sustainable development in the polyester industry, offering valuable insights for related industries transfer into circular economy business models.
