;Market competition, technology trends, and customer demands are driving the digital transformation of enterprises and becoming an important trend for exploration in various industries in the future. In recent years, the U.S. and British militaries have also continued to promote digital transformation of the military to create a more efficient, faster-responsive, and more combat-effective military. This study is based on enterprise digital transformation theory, military white papers, and aviation industry digital transformation literature, focusing on the work functions and processes of Army aviation training units. The study adopted a top-down and bottom-up approach and developed a questionnaire containing eight key dimensions and ten key processes to assess the current status of digitalization and the feasibility of future transformation. The findings indicate that understanding the interrelationships between multiple dimensions of current training processes and digital maturity can provide Army aviation training units with valuable insights to effectively facilitate the implementation of digital transformation in the military. The results of this study also have important reference value for the digital transformation of other militaries and enterprises.
