;The author of "Book of Changes" interprets that "the hexagrams were written by King Wen, and the line words were written by the Duke of Zhou." This is the traditional saying of Chinese culture throughout the ages. Due to a coincidence, I am particularly interested in the hexagrams in the "Book of Changes". While studying the hexagrams in the "Book of Changes", I also found that some hexagrams narrate the beginning and end of a historical event. For this reason, I studied the historical documents of the Zhou Dynasty. The history of the early years of the Zhou Dynasty was mainly the historical documents of the Zhou Dynasty′s destruction of the Shang Dynasty. The article contained a full range of educational concepts, which impressed me deeply. In addition, while studying the "Book of Changes", I found that some hexagrams seemed to have basis that were not written by King Wen. Therefore, I combined the "Book of Changes" with historical documents to try to find more clues to support this statement. I also hope that it can give younger generations of beginners an additional layer of thinking and judgment. The research method of this paper is mainly Document Analysis, supplemented by Content Analysis. In addition, the "Conditional Proof" of propositional logic and the "Mixed Hypothetical Syllogism" of deductive argument are used to make inferences and justifications. As for the selection of historical documents, this paper uses "Historical Records: Zhou Benji" and "Historical Records: Family of Dukes of Lu and Zhou" written by Sima Qian as the main texts. The overall research results are as follows: 1. From the examples of the "Gen" hexagram, using innovative interpretations of the hexagrams, the "Book of Changes" and "Historical Records" are completely combined to show the supreme wisdom of Zhou Gong in the most difficult moments. and virtue. 2. From the examples of the "Jin" hexagram, there are cross-references to the opinions of many scholars, and it is sufficient to infer that "the hexagram was written by King Wen" is false. 3. From the examples of the "Ge" hexagram, use "Historical Records" as a blueprint. After in-depth research using scriptures, we obtained the unprecedented correct date of "King Wu′s defeat of Zhou".

Keywords: The author of the hexagrams, King Wu′s defeat of Zhou, Duke Zhou′s flight to Chu, interpretation of the Book of Changes from a historical perspective, and the death story of Duke Zhou.
