Abstract:	本計畫之目的為利用衛星遙測及空間分析進行蒙古地區林地及草原土地覆蓋的精準測繪及變遷分析。本計畫的研究成果，除了可以做為森林及草原管理、復育、以及沙漠化防治的重要決策支援資料外，對於環境永續發展更有實質的助益與貢獻。本研究的成果可進一步推動及擴展至更大的區域，進一步降低或減緩蒙古境內沙漠化的情況，減少秋冬季東亞地區沙塵暴發生時的揚塵量，也降低臺灣地區秋冬時期空氣品質惡化的境外汙染源，對於整體的環境及國人健康也有正面的貢獻。
