Abstract:	不同於一般以全台或單一縣市為研究範圍、以隨機抽樣方式針對「外省人」的價值態度（信念/認同）或是行為特性（政黨支持/選舉行為）進行之橫剖面的問卷調查，此次計畫的構思與執行嘗試針對位於桃園市（縣）平鎮區（鄉/市）雙連里（村）客家村落之中逐漸形成的一個「自力眷村」（待後文說明）來進行個案研究，主要探討1949來台軍人及其台生世代的落地經驗（settlement experiences），包括他們的職業與工作、婚姻與家庭、居住安排、族群/鄰里關係、世代差異等問題。
