    Abstract: 本計畫第一年研究台灣南部外海高屏峽谷及馬尼拉海溝的沉積相、沉積物傳輸、及事件層堆積。研究結果可得知極端事件(如陸上大洪水)發生頻率、台灣沉積物在冰期與間冰期如何經由高屏峽谷傳輸至南中國海。
