工業電腦產業貴為台灣經濟火車頭之一,屬於我國關鍵產業。其深根發展超 過 40 年,時常因為技術應用或是亮眼營收在國際舞嶄露頭角。自 2016 年 AI 技 術出現創新突破後,此科技逐步廣泛運用在工業電腦產品,全球企業正積極投入 人才與資金研發相關設備,為人類社會實現工業 4.0 之智能願景。 本研究以產業經濟學之結構–行為–績效 SCP 理論架構套入 AI 工業電腦產 業。首先闡述產業現況,再藉由市場結構、廠商行為、企業績效彼此之間相互影 響進行分析,此外涵蓋政府立場之要素,提供更全面之產業研究。 研究結果顯示當前全球前三大工業電腦廠商:研華、西門子以及倍福,隨著 AI 新技術注入產業,各間企業策略都是採取關注市場趨勢、投入技術與創新、 逐步調整發展規劃,並且透過公司產品獨特性建立業界地位。同時,與政府合作 關係緊密,遵從法規制定之環保永續計畫,善盡企業責任。;Taiwan’s critical industry, Industrial Personal Computer (IPC), is recognized as one of the key drivers of our economy. With over 40 years of development, our local IPC companies have frequently gained global recognition through its technological innovations and outstanding revenues. After the world has released breakthroughs in AI technology in 2016, this excited new tech has gradually been used in IPC products. All worldwide enterprises are now keep rising talent and capital to invest related products. The operation has driven the companies bring the intelligent vision of Industry 4.0 to the human society. This study applies the Structure–Conduct–Performance (SCP) framework from Industrial Economics to analyze the industry of Industrial AI Computer. Firstly, the research outlines the current state of the industry. Moreover, it reviews the interactions among market structure, firm behavior, and business performance. Final but not least, the study incorporates government’s policy considerations to provide a more comprehensive industry analysis. While the Al technology has rooting in the fields, research findings show that the top three global IPC manufacturers—Advantech, Siemens, and Beckhoff— all take similar strategies: “tracking the market trends, investing technology and innovation, and adjusting the company plans time by time”. These companies also establish industry positions through product differentiation. Furthermore, they maintain close collaborations with governments, and comply the environmental sustainability policy as the social responsibilities.
