;In the stainless steel processing industry, traditional entrepreneurial models face numerous challenges, including high equipment investment, difficulty in acquiring factory space, high technical barriers, and cash flow risks. These factors make it difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises or individual entrepreneurs to enter the market, thereby limiting industrial innovation and workforce renewal. This study aims to explore whether the “Processing Entrepreneurship Platform” model can serve as a feasible solution to lower entry barriers, diversify capital risks, and improve operational efficiency. The research methodology includes an industry landscape analysis, a comparative study of traditional and platform-based models, and in-depth interviews with senior executives from three representative companies in stainless steel processing, metal manufacturing, and financial leasing sectors—ensuring both diversity and practical relevance in the findings. The results indicate that the platform model effectively transforms large capital expenditures (CAPEX) into operational expenditures (OPEX), enabling entrepreneurs to enter the industry with a light-asset approach by sharing plant space and high-cost machinery. Additionally, through the platform’s services—such as order matching, technical assistance, and financial support—startup efficiency and survival rates can be significantly enhanced. The platform also fosters industrial clustering, standardization, and digital transformation, aligning with current trends in sustainable and smart manufacturing policies. However, the study also identifies several potential challenges, including the delineation of equipment management responsibilities, quality risk control, and operational stability. Overall, under the premise of a sound institutional and managerial framework, the "Stainless Steel Industry Processing Entrepreneurship Platform" model demonstrates high feasibility and application potential. It can serve as a critical pathway for innovation and entrepreneurship in traditional industries. |
