    Abstract: 本論文提出應用於毫米波中距離汽車防撞雷達系統之槽孔耦合饋入貼片天線陣列設計,可提供 79 GHz 汽車防撞雷達 ( 77~81 GHz ) 頻段使用。天線採用多層印刷電路板技術,單一天線和天線陣列是透過槽孔耦合作為饋入方式,透過改變槽孔形狀來達到頻寬標準,並縮窄天線寬度以實現目標掃描角度,利用串聯式饋入網路將天線串接為1 x 4子陣列,並分別組成4 x 4的主動式與被動式陣列,對主動式陣列之隔離度和場型有進一步的分析。
    天線實作之量測結果符合中距離汽車防撞雷達系統之頻寬規格,經由量測驗證主動式陣列天線( Port1 )之阻抗頻寬為73~87 GHz (17.5%),在中心頻79 GHz之0°方向增益表現為9.85 dBi;主動式陣列天線( Port 3 )之阻抗頻寬為73~84.19 GHz (14.23%),在中心頻79 GHz之0°方向增益表現為9.5 dBi;4 x 4被動式天線陣列之阻抗頻寬為73~87 GHz (17.5%),在中心頻79 GHz之0°方向增益表現為13.47 dBi。
    ;This paper presents the design of an aperture-coupled patch antenna array for millimeter wave medium-range automotive collision avoidance radar systems. The proposed antennas operate in the 79 GHz automotive radar band (77–81 GHz). The antenna design in the thesis use multilayer printed circuit board (PCB) technology provided by the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI). Both single element antenna and antenna array are fed by using aperture-coupled technique. The bandwidth of antennas is achieved by modifying the slot shape. To improve the beamwidth, the width of the antenna is minimized. A series-fed network is utilized to implement a 1×4 sub-array, which is further cascaded to form a 4×4 array.
    The measured results of the antenna conform to the bandwidth specifications for the medium-range automotive collision avoidance radar systems. Measurement verification shows the impedance bandwidth of active antenna array (Port 1) ranges from 73 to 87 GHz (17.5%), with the gain of 9.85 dBi at 79 GHz. For the active antenna array (Port 3), the impedance bandwidth is from 73 to 84.19 GHz (14.23%), with the gain of 9.5 dBi at 79 GHz. The passive antenna array achieves an impedance bandwidth of 73 to 87 GHz (17.5%) and the gain of 13.47 dBi at 79 GHz.
