摘要(中) 本研究主要探討正面心理學中的美德與性格長處對資訊人員工作滿意度與生活滿意的影響。正面心理學的研究發現,當個人將美德與性格長處在工作與生活中發揮時,可以提高個人的意義感與滿意度,而且,美德與性格長處可以在順境時幫助人找到意義感與滿意感,在遇到逆境時,可以幫助人找到重新開始的復原力量。
過去國內對資訊人員的研究議題中大多以工作中遇到的負面議題為主,例如壓力、焦崩等。但大部分資訊人員都擁有獲得美好生活的美德與性格長處。資訊人員若是能在工作中發揮自己的美德與性格長處,以正面心理學的發現,可以幫助資訊人員將工作與個人的意義感與滿足感連結在一起,進而將工作視為一種志業(calling)而不單只是工作(job)而已。而當資訊人員將工作視為個人志業時,在工作中的意義感更高,進而可以提高工作滿意度和生活滿意度。
本研究以問卷自我評估方式,以就讀於二所知名大學在職專班的同學為研究對象(N=92)。研究發現資訊人員的美德中以智慧與知識、勇氣、人道與愛與心靈的超越和工作滿意度有正相關,和生活滿意度有正相關的美德有勇氣、人道與愛、正義與心靈的超越。資訊人員自我評估表現較強的性格長處為正直,資訊人員評估在工作獲得成功之人表現較強的為熱忱。此外,有些性格長處會正向影響工作滿意度和生活滿意度。
摘要(英) The study focused on the personal virtues and character strengths in information management industry. Virtues and character strengths is one of the main studies of positive psychology in recent years. Positive psychology found that when people use their virtues and character strengths in work or life. They will get more satisfaction in their work and job. The using of virtues and character in good time can help people to find meanings of life and get more satisfaction from their job. It also helped people to cultivate resilience when their life faced difficultied and adversities.
Most of the past studies of worker in information industry are focused on the negative-relatived topics like pressure or personal burnout. But most people own good characters and virtues to make a good and meaningful life. Positive psychology found that when people use their virtues and character strengths in work, it will link life meanings and meanings of work together. Then people will transform work from mere job to their own calling. When job become calling, people will experience more satisfaction in job and life.
The research subjects include information management MBA graduate of two well-known universites in Taiwan (N=92). This study found that there are four virtus positively influence job satisfaction: wisdom and knowledge, courage, humanity and love and spiritual transdence. Four virtues positively influence life satisfaction: courage, humanity and love, justice and spiritual transdence. In Self-evaluation, the top character strength of informational worker is integrity. People who earned their success in job showed more zest in their job than other worker. Finally, there are many character strengths positively influence job satisfaction and life satisfaction of worker in information management industry.
