Abstract:	兩群體區別分析(Discriminant Analysis)的樣本重疊部分是錯誤分類主要來源。Chang et al. (2005) 利用對稱性層別化資料包絡分析(Stratified Data Envelopment Analysis)所發展的無母數非線性區別程序可有效逐步將重疊區內的觀察樣本正確分類。當兩群體樣本數比率差異很大，且型Ⅰ誤差與型Ⅱ誤差的誤判成本(misclassification cost)差距懸殊時 (如疾病診斷或破產分析)，對稱性層別分析區別方法將使包絡面層別較少的群組產生較高誤判風險而降低區別力。因此本計畫提出非對稱性層別化資料包絡分析區別方法 (Asymmetric Stratified DEA )，並以總預期誤判成本取代傳統正確判斷率(hit-ratio) 為評估績效指標，以避免區別程序之正確判斷率偏重樣本個數較多的群體。研究期間：9508 ~ 9607
