Abstract:	研究期間：10108~10207;The role of foreign direct investment (FDI) is getting important in the world trade. Many countries in the world adopt the FDI-related trade and industrial policies more and more frequent today. There are also lots of studies devoted to the research of these policies and their effects. Despite this, some important FDI-related policies are still lack of research. For the above reason, this project is planned to study three FDI-related policies with the hope of enriching the research fruit. This project will be implanted in three years. In this three-year project, the following three issues are going to be studied. (1) The optimal privatization policy and the optimal tariff of the host country given that FDI by a multinational firm is possible. (2) The optimal local content requirement policies of the competing countries. A policy game is provided in this subproject. (3) The optimal choice of entry mode between acquisition and direct entry of the multinational firm. The optimal host country’s policy is also considered in this subproject.
