    Title: 可溶性具多併環噻吩衍生物於有機光伏打太陽能電池材料之開發;Development of Solution Processable Fused Thiophenyl Derivatives for Organic Photovoltaics

    Abstract: 本研究以 CDT 為單元,開發出新核心:雙併 CDT 單元的DCDT,之後將此新核心分別接上末端基拉電子基團為羅丹寧 (Rh) 與茚酮 (IN),製備出兩個新的可溶性有機光伏打太陽能電池材料:INDCDT-b16 (1) 與 RhDCDT-b16 (2),並與實驗室開發的 INBCDT-b16 與 RhBCDT-b16 比較。多併環噻吩之核心有助於電荷轉移進而增加載子移動率,於多環的核心架構中引入分支的碳鏈以確保分子之溶解度,並避免元件製備成膜時分子之堆疊嚴重。
    利用 UV-vis 探討此兩核心之共軛性差異,併環 DCDT 相較 BCDT 的確有更好的共軛性,使 DCDT 有更強的 ICT 效應,同時接上較強拉電子之末端基團 IN 相較 Rh 有明顯的紅位移。利用 DPV 探討所開發分子之 HOMO 與 LUMO能階之差異,相較於 Rh,在接上較強拉電子之末端基團 IN 後,HOMO 與 LUMO 能階都有明顯的下降。此四新材料之OPVs元件性質仍在優化中。
    最後,藉由改變DCDT核心長碳鏈長度,以調整此系列分子之溶解度與分子排列性,開發出兩個新的 INDCDT-8 (3) 與 INDCDT-b8 (4) 衍生物,進而可研究不同鏈長對元件效能的影響。
    ;One CDT derivative, DCDT, was served as a central core and were end-capped with electron withdrawing groups, such as dicyanomethylene indanone (IN) or rhodamine (Rh). Via knoevenagel condensation, two new materials INDCDT-b16 (1) and RhDCDT-b16 (2) were prepared and compared to INBCDT-b16 and RhBCDT-b16.
    The optical properties of these new OPVs were characterized by UV-vis and electrochemical properties (HOMO and LUMO) were characterized by DPV. With better conjugation, the fused DCDTs with more red-shift Uv-Vis absorption and exhibit stronger intramolecular transfer effect than their BCDT analogs. In comparison with Rh-end capping unit, the IN- derivative exhibit lower HOMO and LUMO.
    Two small molecules based on DCDT with different alkyl chains, INDCDT-8 (3) and INDCDT-b8 (4), were synthesized and characterized for comparison. Currently, the molecular modification and the OPV device optimization of these new compounds are undergoing.
