;The purpose of this study is to apply Taguchi method to find the optimal combination of injection molding parameters to obtain the tensile strength with larger the best characteristics. The material was ABS PA756 produced by Chi Mei Corporation. The dimension of the tensile test specimen was complied with the ASTM D638 standard. The three levels for 13 control factors were selected to establish the injection molding experiment. Additionally, the orthogonal array of experiment was created by Minitab software. The tensile specimens were tested by the universal material testing machine. The experimental data was analyzed its S/N ratio. From the experimental results, the influence of each control factor on tensile strength and the optimal combination of parameters were achieved. According to the effective analysis of the S/N ratio response, it is known that the melt temperature was the most significant parameter. The results of regression analysis showed the negative correlation between melt temperature and tensile strength in this study. Five repeated tensile tests were performed for each set of conditions and the dispersion of the standard deviation of each set of data is calculated. According to Taguchi analysis results showed that the optimal combination of injection molding parameters was 「A1B3C1D2E1F3G2H3J1K3 L3M2N1」.The results indicated that the Taguchi method can effectively find out the optimal combination of injection molding parameters for robust product quality.
