摘要(中) 早期手持裝置以數字鍵盤及方向鍵為主要輸入裝置,發展至今,拍照、觸控、手勢及語音辨識等輸入方法已漸漸成為大眾對於手持裝置必不可少的基本需求。同樣地,手持裝置從早期以單機操作,甚少從外界獲取資訊或互動的模式,到現在,透過範圍日趨縝密的無線通訊環境搭配GPRS、Wifi、3G等通訊協定滿足使用者無所不在取得資訊的需求。
學生閱讀紙本的環境在時間、空間上都是無所不在的,因此,遭遇學習問題的時間點是無法預測的;若問題無法立即記錄就容易被學生遺忘,將造成學生無法學習到紙本中重要的知識架構,進而學習中斷。本論文將提出以紙本結合手機為平台的問題管理互動流程,利用手持裝置的無所不在特性與日趨便利的輸入方法,讓學生可以隨時管理紙本教科書的問題。
本論文實驗對象為10位資訊工程研究所研究生,在3小時的實驗過程中,實際閱讀紙本教材並管理問題,再以問卷、訪談取得回饋。從問卷結果得知,使用者對於以此互動流程管理紙本教科書的問題表示滿意,從訪談中得知,使用者對於以拍照、錄音記錄問題內容認為能清楚表達問題,另外以同樣方法記錄與他人討論問題的過程能有助於後製問題解答。
摘要(英) Earlier hand-held devices use keyboard as main input device. And so far, camera, touch, gesture, and voice recognition become necessaries on hand-held device gradually. Similarly, hand-held devices show us an evolution from off-line-oriented design to ubiquitous wireless information service by using GPRS, Wifi, and 3G etc.
Students’ learning on paper textbook is ubiquitous. However, when will students encounter a learning problem? This is unpredictable. If the questions can not be recorded immediately, they tend to be passed into oblivion soon, causing flaws in learning. In view of this, we propose a framework that combines paper textbook with Q&A management mechanism on hand-held device. Thus students can easily manage their questions on paper textbook whenever they prefer.
Through a three-hour experiment procedure, 10 users authentically use our system in learning to manage their questions. By questionnaire, users are satisfy with the interface and procedures of this system. And by interview, users agree that using camera and sound-recording is enough and helpful for clearly expressing questions and reserving answers. They also believe that to manage questions on this system helps a lot in learning.
