dc.description.abstract | Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Boiler is a means of energy-generating process by burning petroleum coke. In order to avoid blazed petroleum coke with high sulfur content from emitting overdosed sulfur dioxide, limestone is introduced in the boiler for desulfuration. The residue collected from the boiler is called CFB Byproduct Lime.
In this study, According to specifications ASTM C821and ASTM C593‚ measured in CFB byproduct lime as activators of feasibility. Then, used CFB byproduct lime with granulated blast furnace slag and cement to form blended cement, according to the specification CNS 15286 for conformance testing, providing CFB byproduct lime of resource utilization basis. On the other hand, according to CFB byproduct lime produced during the reaction and its activating effect of substances having, respectively, a single component manner granulated blast furnace slag for stimulating effect, to view the effects of each component’s contribution to the excitation and its effect on mortar expansion behavior and the impact of blended cements health degrees.
The results show that, CFB byproduct lime as activator with the feasibility, when the mixed preparation of hydraulic blended cement, its highest blending amount must be less than 20%, only to meet the specification requirements. Single component excitation part on the strength of gypsumsystem material contribution to the larger, but the effect on mortar expansion behavior is also more significant. | en_US |
