dc.description.abstract | To face global competition, enterprises have to provide various services to meet customers’ demands. As a small diversified production, speedy and competitive delivery with much lower cost and so on. All business activities are set for purposes, such as increasing sales and making profits. Therefore, enterprises have to satisfy customers ′ demands to obtain trust. On time delivery rate is an important indicator for internal of enterprise, demonstrating whether a company could fulfill customers′ exception of on time delivery or not. Alternatively, for external enterprise, the indicator would show whether the order, production, shipments, and after-sales service process are perfect and competitive or not.
The company which I studied is a manufacturing supplier, after the company launched ERP enterprise resource planning system, the long schedule of upgrading for the version of ERP. In this long-launched process, corporation constantly updated system process, resulting in a number of imports and new-system report of indicators, failing to did meet the requirements of the company. Especially, since the new system on line and on time delivery rate has been unable to reflect the reality of delivering goods. Thus, the company has been missed out on possible performance even had fine due to the late delivery.
This study is concerning that a company improve on time delivery rate by six sigma DMAIC model, demonstrating delivery process and identifying the input-output from each process. According to the analysis, evaluating the input-output from each delivery process and identity the most critical process and input, use Cause and Effects Matrix and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to analyze the possibility potential failure could result in and affect how to correct it to avoid potential failure occurring. All departments improve process by analyzing to reach the project goal, and promote the on time delivery rate. | en_US |
