dc.description.abstract本論文的目的在於研究一種新的不需偏振片之液晶模態,並應用於智 慧型窗戶,利用摻雜二色性染料於液晶之技術,成功地開發出超越黑、白 色顯示,使其介質達到彩色化顯示效果之軟性光電開關,此技術結合了聚 合物網絡的光散射作用和染料分子的光吸收作用。 利用摻雜二色性染料(Dichroic Dye)搭配液晶聚合物網絡(Polymer Network liquid crystal)技術,成功的找出最佳化之材料搭配組合,此技術可 省去偏光片及彩色濾光片,可大幅降低製作成本。透過聚合物網絡技術之 光散色作用搭配二色性染料的吸收作用,成功的降低將驅動電壓及提升色 飽和度,大大的改善軟性光電開關之缺點。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractSmart glass is a glass whose light transmission properties are altered when voltage, light or heat is applied. When installed in the envelope of buildings, smart glass creates climate adaptive buildings shell, with the ability to save energy of heating, air-conditioning or the lighting. And avoid the cost of installing and maintaining motorized light screens or curtains. The new technology is made of no polarizer and no color filters in the liquid crystal mode, which combines the scattering color of the polymer network liquid crystal (PNLC) and the absorption light of the dye molecules, and the changing brightness and darkness control by electric field of the ITO layer with electric devices.en_US
