dc.description.abstract | Due to the change of the family structure and the population aging, it has become the truth that the household care problem because of the increasing of elders with the disability, thus that should be the main subject and need to be solved making institutions of long-term care (LTC) and development of the related industries. With the public system of LTC 2.0 service, the Community-based service is major type nowadays, but doubtless, it still is necessary to establish the Institution-based LTC service.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare is the main authority governing all Institution-based nursing homes, and according to the standard for the regulations of settlement and the evaluation of the nursing institution, obviously, they are the crucial conditions of LTC operation with the Medical treatment, the care quality and the effectiveness of cost.
On the other hand, most of the hospitals are turning their operation planning indirectly due to the change of medical environment and the policies of National Health Insurance in Taiwan, therefore, this should be the trend to develop the LTC in the hospitals, nevertheless, how to make and use the strategies effectively to maintain the competitive advantage, the market share and the operation effectiveness, this is the crucial problem for the managers in hospitals.
Thus, according to environment of promoting LTC 2.0 and the market competition, through the related resource analyzation and discussion about the LTC development based on the conditions for now with a case study of a regional and teaching hospital in Southern Taoyuan, and secondly then focus on the development of Institution-based LTC service in Taoyuan to estimate the cost and reasonable profits, it concludes the possibility to establish the nursing house in District of Pingjen, Zhongli. To draw the conclusion and from the results of cost analyzing, besides to promote the recourse-getting and self-abilities, it should create the more competitive advantage to make better room-pricing strategy than the other competitors. | en_US |
