dc.description.abstract | The aircraft maintenance is a technology-intensive industry. With the rapid development of aviation science and technology, its related professional knowledge and skills need to keep pace with the times. In addition to requiring solid professional training and maintenance experience, maintenance personnel are skilled in professional knowledge and skills. It is still necessary to pass rigorous certification and authorization in order to become a qualified aircraft maintenance authorized person.
This paper takes the maintenance organization of a domestic airline company as the case study object. The aircraft maintenance and licensing system in our nation, originally referring to the framework of FAR as the source of the law, but with EASA have clarified the classification of maintenance personnel′s licenses and made them more stringent in terms of qualification requirements. In recent years, various countries’ maintenance systems have changed their reference to EASA regulations and have become the mainstream system for aircraft maintenance worldwide.
The CAA in our nation referred to EASA maintenance system and amended it in 2013. This study explores how the case company faces modification under the statute, how to adjust maintenance training strategies in a timely manner, reviews and establishes training center, carries out relevant course maintenance training, include type training, license conversion, and new system test training, and collect data from 2016 to the first quarter 2018 to review the results. It is recommended to actively develop the basic maintenance training course or to obtain other nation’s certification. In addition to improving the quality of new personnel for organizational maintenance, it can open up business opportunities in the aviation maintenance and training market at home and abroad.
