dc.description.abstract | Curiosity brings innovation and progress, with the rapid changes in technology and the fast information flow, companies rely on the curiosity of employees to help maintain competitive advantages. When employees have a sense of identity, they will generate more curiosity and set a higher standard for themselves, try to make better choices for the team. In a society that values teamwork, it is better thought from different perspectives, through team building, the curiosity of employees can be concentrated on other members and further develop the ability of perspective taking. This study will explore the relationship between identity, curiosity, and perspective taking, and how team building helps increase curiosity.
In this study, sampling survey method was used. The samples of 181 employees from the financial services industry, excluding independent workers and workers only engaged in routine work. To avoid common method variation, the questionnaire was distributed in three phases.
The results found that: (1) work group identity has no influence on curiosity; job role identity and creative role identity have a positive influence on curiosity (2) curiosity has a positive influence on perspective taking (3) Work group identity, job role identity, and creative role identity have a positive influence on perspective taking(4) Curiosity has a mediating effect between job role identity, creative role identity, and perspective taking (5) Role clarification can enhance the relationship between joyous exploration and perspective taking (6) Role clarification and problem solving moderated the mediated effect of joyous exploration on job role identity, creative role identity and perspective taking. | en_US |
