dc.description.abstract | In the past, the research on Taiwan′s coal mining industry was mostly concentrated in Taipei and Keelung, and there was less mention of the area along the Taoyuan Mountains, or it was mainly based on other research, and the coal mining industry was slightly mentioned. In recent years, due to the popularity of local studies, research topics such as local family history, economic history, and development history have gradually become popular. Through the study of regional history, it is possible to further explore the local history of Taiwan. The Taoyuan area is also a fusion of diverse ethnic groups and cultures, and each district has its own uniqueness, which has the motivation for further research.
This article explores the concept of regional history and regional society, and discusses the development or construction of Taoyuan′s mountainous area affected by the coal mining industry. The text discusses it from three aspects. First of all, the mining owners themselves, in what role do they own and operate the mining rights in Taoyuan along the mountain, and whether there are differences in capital and technology between Taiwanese and Japanese in operating coal mines, and how are the mining owners? Construct each other′s coal mining industry. The second is to discuss the company. At that time, both Taiwanese and Japanese established a company to mine coal mines along the mountains in Taoyuan. Through this discussion, the technology and capital of the company′s coal mines at that time were discussed, including the identities of the members of the organization. I will also consider whether the identity of the mine owner who owned the mining rights at that time and the president of the company has a good interactive relationship with the Taiwan Governor′s Office and the government. The other is the regional society affected by "coal". The coal mining industry was a new industry at that time. Did the mining of coal cause any problems, and whether this industry created different industrial connections and local structures. This thesis conducts research on these three aspects.
Taking a comprehensive view of the above three aspects, and discussing them with historical materials such as official documents of the Taiwan Governor-General′s Office, treatises on coal mine research at that time, newspapers, local chronicles, and personal records. I hope to analyze the influence of the coal mining industry along the Taoyuan Mountains and the interaction of the mine owners in the coal mining industry based on the above historical data. | en_US |
