dc.description.abstract | Accidents accentuate the importance of bridge safety, The construction of major public works in Taiwan has been completed in succession. The problem of bridge maintenance and management will become a challenge for the domestic engineering in the next ten years, The government′s uneven maintenance and management of public bridges has a huge impact on the safety of users′ lives and properties .
Purpost for this study " Life-Cycle orientation viaduct maintenance and management Steel Arch bridge in the extension of National freeway NO.2 " as an example, and takes the long-term monitoring of construction Steel Arch bridges as a reference for the design and planning of public works bridges and the basis for decision-making on future bridge maintenance; The work content of the monitoring plan mainly includes data collection, structural numerical analysis, monitoring instrument installation and monitoring system erection.
For the information collected, the design and as-built drawings can ensure the correctness of the model construction, the survey of the current condition of the bridge structure can deploy the installation location of the instrument in advance. In the structural numerical analysis execution project, the numerical analysis of the bridge structure can effectively simulate the structural type of the bridge, and then grasp the current status of the bridge, so as to facilitate the maintenance of the bridge in the future and the basis for decision-making.
The whole Life-Cycle of public works includes Feasibility Study, grogramme, design, bidding, construction, acceptance, takeover and operation stages. every stages have its importance, the facility maintenance management in the operation stage is the longest in the Life-Cycle . Part of it is closely related to economic activities and the lives of users. On October 1, 2019, the "Nanfang′ao viaduct " ruptured, causing 12 injuries and 6 deaths, which shows the importance of maintenance and management of the bridge project during the operation phase after the construction is completed.
In this research case, the remote monitoring method is adopted, and a cloud service system for real-time status monitoring of bridges is built. All local monitoring data of bridges are transmitted to the cloud service platform through a unified data agreement method through the network; the data system can also be connected with Taiwan. The bridge management information system TBMS 2.0 is shared.
At present , there are more than 30,000 bridges in Taiwan, and most of them have not been established with dated digital data. As a result, the current bridge structure and current condition data are insufficient, and there is not enough manpower to detect and investigate the deterioration of the bridges , which may cause hidden worries about the safety of the bridges . Therefore, the author suggests that the relevant digital data should be established for the first detection of more special bridges according to the particularity of the bridge, the external environment and other factors.
Currently, in addition to the " Freeway Bureau MOTC and the Directorate General of highways (DGH) ", the bridge maintenance and management agencies have not yet implemented the concept of "whole Life-Cycle viaduct management" and used the system. After the construction is completed, before handing over to the maintenance management unit, import the full Life-Cycle and build relevant information for comparison and verification during the construction phase to facilitate the subsequent maintenance management unit to implement. | en_US |
