dc.description.abstract | In the face of rising crude oil prices and increasing competition within the
industry, freight companies urgently need to take effective measures to ensure the
smooth delivery of goods. Effective management and coordination of various
aspects to maximize profits has become an important issue that managers need to
address urgently.
This study takes the vehicle resources of a truck company as an example,
focusing on the dispatching of mattress transportation vehicles during large-scale
sales events such as mattress promotions, special sales, and anniversaries,
particularly during the withdrawal phase. The study provides parameters such as
vehicle resources, vehicle constraints, delivery demands, time windows, and
various costs, aiming to find an optimized transportation solution. The study
constructs a mathematical model, uses the computer software LINGO 18.0 for
computation, and employs electronic spreadsheet programs to output data,
establishing an optimized dispatching model. Through sensitivity analysis, the
study conducts an in-depth analysis of factors such as transportation days, demand
quantity, transportation constraints, vehicle number, and types, to explore the
impact of these factors on transportation efficiency and costs. This provides a
reference for decision-makers, helping to save time and costs while improving
transportation economic efficiency and competitiveness, ultimately achieving a
balance between market supply and demand. | en_US |
