dc.description.abstract | In the northeastern Taiwan, the Philippine Sea Plate subducts northwestward beneath the Eurasian Plate in northeastern Taiwan. Because the extension of the southern Okinawa Trough gradually migrates from northeast to southwest, from the early stage to the late stage, the Taiwan orogen transferred from the collision stage to the collapse stage due to the reverse subduction polarity. Nowadays, the northeastern Taiwan is in the post-collisional stage, due to the extension of the southern Okinawa Trough, there are some NE-SW trending normal faults which caused the offshore northeastern Taiwan in the graben and half-graben features. In the Keelung offshore, according to multi-beam and single-beam data, there is a cone-shaped structure was found in this study area which is with strong hydrothermal activity and frequent microseismic activity. This study area is in the Keelung submarine volcano range, and the emergency submarine cone is the neck of the Keelung submarine volcano. Many gas plumes can be found around the neck of the Keelung submarine volcano. This study used the data of water depth, sparker seismic reflection survey, sub-bottom profiles and EA640 data which collected from NOR2-0082-KL1 and NOR2-0093.This study collected 15 sparker seismic reflection profiles and 15 collinear sub-bottom profiles of the spark reflection seismic profiles which are used to explore the fluid characteristics, igneous rock characteristics, and the distribution of gas plumes to discuss the reason for the distribution of these characteristics. Observing the fluid characteristics, igneous rock, and seismic signal reverse polarity characteristics of deep strata by using spark reflection seismic profiles in this study Then, using the bottom profiles and EA640 data to observe the gas plumes characteristics and prove whether there are gas plumes erupt to the seafloor which is above the features, in order to confirm whether the features which are observed on the sparker seismic reflection profiles are active. Using the research results to assist in explanation and previous research confirmation. Finally, based on these features, it can be found that the igneous rock characteristics and fluid characteristics are along the Distribution which is in a specific direction, there may be a fault zone in this specific direction, and the magma migrates to the shallow strata along this fault zone, causing fluid characteristics... and other characteristics. | en_US |
