dc.description.abstract | Since the 50’s, female writers moved to Taiwan stood out conspicuously in the literary arena among the atmosphere of anti Communist and fight. Their positions were improved gradually because of their works that are close the real live and their tender and implicit personalities. Prose changes fast during the 80~90’s. Topics are diverse and the boundaries are blurred. These female writers’ independent, conscious and self-confident personalities shown in their writings.
Most of them were born in 1965~1975. They grew up in the 80’s, become famous in the late 80’s and made themselves conspicuous in the 90’s. They’ve been approved by literature award. Moreover, they’ve published their works and the works were selected into literary selections. They are Chung, Wen-Yin, Shih, Chun-Yu, Ke, Yu-Fen, Chung, Yi-Wen, Liglale, Awo, and Chang, Hui-Ching.
The researcher concludes these writers’ works into three main topics—family, city and journey. According to the context from inside to outside, the researcher inquires these female writers’ works from their private space like homes to public space like streets and parks, and broadens the scope to the whole world. Compared to the style and features of former works, the researcher hopes to manifest the value and meaning of female prose in this new generation among the context of Taiwan modern prose. | en_US |
