dc.description.abstract | 論文提要及內容:
| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | History of Balzac et la Petite Tailleuse chinoise takes place in China during Cultural Revolution. It tells a terrible period lived by two teenagers. It is the first work written in French by Dai Sijie, which draws inspiration from its youth experience. The adventure of two young persons is inseparable of their friendship with the little seamstress. The novel drive a big known success in France, and we would like to know why such enthusiasm in France?
The Frenchmen start to be interested in China lately across the products of the film-makers and the Chinese writers. In this context, Dai Sijie manages to interest public French: he is in a way a "spokesman" regarding the Frenchmen, since he has status at the same time of victim of Cultural Revolution and Chinese writer. However, they can wonder if China is real or stereotypic, even mythical for the pleasure of the Frenchmen.
From this point of view, it will be particularly interesting to examine the case of Balzac et la Petite Tailleuse chinoise. The heroine after a western literary study became "modern" as regards his behavior and her attitude. She left the village towards the big city, finally thanks to Balzac which made understand a thing: « the beauty of a woman is a treasure without price ». A big number of French readers appreciate this conclusion, being persuaded with pride that western and especially French literature has power to change the life of a Chinese girl by this study. So we would like find out le reason for his success in France. | en_US |
