dc.description.abstract新ㄧ代的視訊壓縮標準H.264為了能夠達到好的壓縮效率採用更 複雜的編碼架構,支援可變區塊大小的移動估計(Variable Block Size Motion Estimation)、多幅參考畫面的移動估計(Multi-reference Frame Motion Estimation)、去區塊濾波器(De-blocking Filter)與整數轉換(Integer Transform)等,然而這樣的架構使得編碼器的複雜度大幅提升,主要是在區塊決策與移動估計的部份。 在此篇論文中,我們利用變異數(Variance)的特性來判斷物體的 移動特性如移動緩慢(Stationary)與複雜移動(Non-stationary),再進一步使用合併法(Merging)及分裂法(Splitting)以減少移動向量和區塊種類資料量,實驗結果顯示我們所提出的方法在影像品質幾乎沒有失真的情況下,能有效降低編碼端的運算複雜度。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractH.264 is the latest video coding standard. In order to achieve the highest coding efficiency, H.264 adopts complicated coding schemes,employing motion compensation with variable blocks sizes motion estimation, multiple reference frames motion estimation, de-blocking filter and integer transform, etc. Unfortunately, these features incur a considerable increase in encoder complexity, mainly regards to mode decision and motion estimation. In this thesis, we use the property of variance to determine the motion characteristic of the subject such as stationary and non- stationary, and then we will further use the merging and splitting method to reduce the data amount of block type. The experimental results show that our proposed algorithms can save the coding time, with a negligible peak-signal-to-noise ratio.en_US
