dc.description.abstract | 摘要
| zh_TW |

ABSTRACT
In the thesis, we investigate a compact dual-band slot antenna for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless applications. A technique for compact antenna design is proposed. Reduced-size monopole slot antennas with different slot shapes placed on a small ground plane are studied. We propose the dual-band slot antenna with a compact size of 10 x 10 x 0.4 mm^3.This antenna locates at the corner of the ground plane and can be easily integrated with other circuits as a whole in a PCB. The peak gain of the proposed antenna is more than 0 dBi. The measurement is in good agreement with simulation. Additionally, a novel compact microstrip-fed dual-band slot antenna is proposed to achieve suppression of harmonics and miniaturization of the antenna. | en_US |
