dc.description.abstract | Hydration Circulating Fluidized Bed ash (HCFB) is through mixed with the CFB bed ash and fly ash, then soak those ashes in water for 24hr stable treatment, in order to achieve a large number of HCFB to apply for the fill material. This study is to explore the HCFB with sea sand and the site soil as fill material in accordance with the proportion of by the different test methods to observe the characteristics of the different mixing ratio to determine the best ratio, and the use of some of the proposals for future reference use.
The test results show that HCFB using the higher the amount of the optimum moisture content (OMC) of the specimens also increase as a result, the califofnia bearing ratio (CBR) test value of HCFB and sea sand mixture before the ponding test is more stable then after ponding test, and the HCFB and soil mixture CBR value is even lower than the sea sand. Swell potential test whether the ratio of sea sand, or the site soil will produce expansion, and expansion continued to rise with the increase of curing time. Hydration degree of completion test can be found in the HCFB immersion in water conservation and more water content to stand for two different conservation, the two different conservation HCFB after the conservation of different ages and find that within their sample of dihydrate gypsum ratio is not very high, on behalf of the hydration byproduct lime to be the formation of stable dihydrate gypsum takes a long time. If can avoid the mixing material with the water, no volume expansion, but if can’t be avoided, they should limit the use of non-structural fill, so as not to affect its intended function.
