dc.description.abstract | Screen printing is accomplished by using nylon mesh, Tetoron mesh, steel mesh cloth and other materials to spread and fix on the screen frame then applying a photosensitive coating on cloth mesh and next washing the printing content out according to the photographing optical principle. Pour the ink inside the screen then scratch and push the ink from the printing content and next the ink permeated to the printed material to get the printing content what we demand. This technology can be applied to metal, cloth and a variety of high-tech panels and it is now an integral technique of the printing technology.
The industry in Taiwan is mainly composed by small and medium enterprises. According to the definition of Ministry of Economic Affairs, the capital to eight million or less and the number of employees less than 200 of the companies will be classified as small and medium enterprises. The ratio of small and medium enterprises are up to 90% or above in Taiwan′s printing industry and the researcher would like to know how the small-medium sized printing industries obtain the comparative advantage among competitive strategies through case studies.
The study analyzes the case company by 5 factors of enterprise life cycle, industry life cycle, SWOT analysis, competitive strategy and dynamic capability. Then to propose some suggestions of competition policy to help E company and related small-medium sized screen printing enterprises to increase their competitiveness and to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
