    Abstract: 本論文提出一種新的光纖通訊雙數位速率混合調變系統,在同一通道中同時傳送兩個不同速率的數位訊號;其為利用高速數位信號當作類載波,而低速數位信號載在高速數位信號上,而達到雙數位速率傳輸不需分頻或分波長的多工系統。為了得到本多工系統的調變機制,我們也設計晶片可以達到調變波形的Mach-Zender調變驅動電路;且此驅動器的特色是利用CMOS 0.18 ?m設計出單端輸出電壓高達4Vpp,比起以往設計Mach-Zender調變器驅動電路皆是利用三-五族元件的高崩潰電壓特性,我們則是利用串疊式電路架構,來達到高輸出電壓的功能。利用設計並量測完成的驅動電路,來調變出本系統所需的波形,完成數據的測量及系統的評估,實現出包含調變(傳送端)及解調(接收端)雙數位速率系統;透過探討並改良,以達到最好的信號品質與接近實用系統的功能。 The implementation of double hybrid type modulation system is studied in this thesis. Utilized waveform modulation method to transmit two baseband signals simultaneously. Compares to others multiplexing systems likes frequency division multiplexing (FDM) or wavelength division multiplexing (WDM), the feature of our new system is low cost, simple and flexible structure. In order to obtain waveform modulation I design a modulator driver circuit which able modulate signal envelope. The feature of this driver circuit is working speed at 10Gbps and single end output voltage could reach 4Vpp using CMOS 0.18um process. Compares to other modulator drivers usually made by compound device, my circuit using silicon material also are enhanced cost efficiency.
