    Abstract: 產業生命週期是決定產業中競爭狀態的一個重要因素,隨著週期的改變,產業內不同公司的競爭優勢也會出現消長。公司經營者的主要任務就是要去預測隨著產業週期的改變,產業未來競爭環境的變化,進一步制定出合宜的競爭策略來因應產業未來的競爭態勢。本研究將分析動態隨機存取記憶體產業在不同生命週期中競爭的態勢及每個週期中產業主導者的競爭優勢,以及目前各個廠商面對產業衰退的對策,以做為實務界或學術界後續研究動態隨機存取記憶體產業之參考。 本研究依據Porter M.E的產業生命週期理論,依照動態隨機存取記憶體產業的發展過程將動態隨機存取記憶體產業區分出誕生期、成長期、成熟期以及衰退期,並且分析出為何誕生期由美國主導、成長期由日本主導、成熟期由韓國及台灣廠商主導的原因,同時解釋分析動態隨機存取記憶體產業已處於衰退期的理由。 本研究為一探索性研究,透過專家意見法及深度訪談法對產業內的專家做深入的訪談及討論,並以專家們的專業知識分析本研究蒐集到的初級資料及次級資料,並確認動態隨機存取記憶體產業生命週期的演進及驅動不同階段產業生命週期演進的主要因素之正確性與可靠度。 本研究已將動態隨機存取記憶體產業之生命週期發展及各週期所須具備的競爭優勢作一清楚的描繪與分析,並對產業衰退後未來的發展可能作出推論,希望對於目前產業中的相關人士能夠有所啟發。 Industry life cycles is one of the impartment factors of the competition status in the industry, with the change in life cycles and times the competition advantages of different companies will be changed too. The company’s high level manager’s main task is to predict the change of industry life cycle and the change of competitive environment, and than making a suitable competitive strategy to overcome the future competition in the industry. To be a reference of follow-up study of DRAM industry, this research will analyse DRAM industry’s competition situation and the industry leader's competition advantage in each life cycle, also, through this research, we will know all the DRAM manufacturer’s countermeasure that facing the decline cycle of industry. According to the industry life cycle theory of Porter M.E, this research divide DRAM industry life cycle into 4 stages, they are ‘emergence stage’ ‘growth stage’ ‘maturity stage’ and ‘decline stage’. This research analyse the reasons of American leading at emergence stage, Japanese leading at growth stage and Korean and Taiwanese leading at maturity stage, also explain the reasons of DRAM industry is being decline. This research is an exploratory study. Through the experts’ opinion and depth interview, we can analyse the Primary Data and the Secondary Data, more over, we can confirming the life cycle of DRAM industry and make sure the reasons of forcing industry life cycle change are correct. This research has already described and analysed each stages of DRAM industry life cycle, and pointed out the competition advantage of each stages, and then surmise the possible way after industry decline. Hope that it can inspire the relevant personage in the DRAM industry.
