國內的大型企業陸續展開全球佈局策略以因應全球化的競爭。為了降低生產成本,生產基地移向開發中國家;為了提高服務的品質和速度,行銷及服務的據點則貼近市場和客戶,期望能透過全球運籌與供應鍊管理來提高獲利。緣此,上述企業往往需要進行資訊科技方面的重要投資以支援其國內接單、大陸生產、和全球出貨的全球化企業經營模式。本研究的目的在探討全球化企業如何訂定與實施其資訊科技策略,以及如何實現資訊科技的商業價值。 本研究採用單一個案、多重資料來源的研究方法,以實徵資料檢驗策略定位模式與資訊科技商業價值的模式命題。個案公司屬於國內筆記型電腦代工產業,此一產業目前在產量和產值方面均居於世界領導地位,全球化的程度也相當高。我們藉由深入探討個案公司為因應全球化等持續變化的商業環境,訂定適當的資訊策略,導入各項資訊系統,來整合整體供應鍊資源,創造出資訊科技的商業價值。 In these years, the enterprise have been facing the rapid changes on industrial environment in the competition of globalization. which includes the inner manufacturing cost increases; the suction of China grant market with low cost and the unfettered competition as a WTO member externally. There are more and more enterprises use the concept “Law of Comparative Advantage “as the global strategy to set up the company locations all over the world, moving the manufacturing facility to the underdeveloped countries, and keep the marketing and service staying close to the markets. They expect to increase the profit through the global logistics, therefore the enterprises start to invest quiet a few resource in IT to help the enterprises achieving the goal. However, how to make the IT strategy to help the enterprise managing the transnational organization effectively? And whether the investment of IT will bring the effect for these globalize enterprises? Which are important topics worth being studied and discussed, and also the purpose of the research. This empirical research adopts the single case study approach. The case is an OEM Notebook Computer Manufacturing Corporation, which is one of the globalize enterprises of the nation. By a thorough research of this case study, we learned that the enterprise has made the proper IT strategy, and implemented sufficient IT systems to integrate the entire supply chain resource for the accommodation of the continual changes of business environment in the Globalize process and to create the most business value from IT.
