    Title: CTO生產模式下台灣筆記型電腦代工廠資訊生命週期管理之研究 — 以SAP Archiving導入為例

    Abstract: 台灣筆記型電腦代工廠商全球市佔率,由早期的六成以下,至 2007 年底已經佔了全球筆記型電腦代工廠商出貨率九成以上,生產量超過九千萬台,而2007年之產值已超過 480 億美元。為了爭取國際品牌大廠的訂單,國內筆記型電腦代工廠必須參與這些大廠之供應鏈體系,而以接單式生產模式(Build To Order; BTO)或客製化生產模式(Configure To Order; CTO)進行生產。我們發現 CTO 生產模式對 ERP 系統帶來非常沉重的負荷,將使資料庫非常快速的膨脹,若未加以妥善的抑制,並有系統性的歸檔與備份,會嚴重影響系統效能 [15]。所以如何訂定企業資訊生命週期管理政策,已成為筆記型電腦代工廠商重要課題之一。 企業在面對資料庫容量跟系統效能衝突時,一般會採取幾個方案,視每家企業之規模及投資預算而定。分別為系統完全複製 (clone system)、資訊生命週期管理系統(Information Lifecycle Management system)、資料倉儲系統 (Data warehouse system)、異質平台資料備份(Heterogeneous platform data backup)系統、或綜合方案的導入。個案公司採取綜合方案,同時導入了資訊生命週期管理系統(SAP Archiving 系統)、資料倉儲系統(SAP BW)、資料備份系統等,效果非常佳。 綜合以上所述,本研究之目的,在於探討企業資訊生命週期管理政策,對以 CTO 生產模式為主之台灣筆記型電腦代工廠商的重要性。並探討個案公司導入企業資訊生命週期管理系統之流程,以 SAP Archiving系統實際導入之成功經驗,歸納出 SAP Archiving 系統導入步驟。 Taiwan notebook OEM manufacturers worldwide market share, at 2007 has accounted for the global notebook PC OEM makers to ship more than the rate of 90%, production more than 90 million units, and the output has more than 48 billion U.S. dollars. In order to win orders for large international brands, they must be involved in these companies on the supply chain system, in order to access Build To Order (BTO) or Configure To Order (CTO) mode for production. We found CTO of the ERP system, mode of production brought about by a very heavy load, the database will allow a very rapid expansion, if properly inhibition and systematic archiving and backup, would adversely affect system performance. So how to set enterprise information lifecycle management policies, has become one of the important topics for those notebook OEM manufacturers. Enterprise database capacity in the face of system performance with the conflict, the general will take a number of solutions, depending on the size of each enterprise and investment of the budget. Like clone system, information lifecycle management systems, data warehousing system, heterogeneous platform data backup system, or integrated into the solution. Cases of companies to adopt comprehensive solution, taking into Information Lifecycle Management system (SAP Archiving System), Data warehouse system (SAP BW), data backup system, the effect is very good. The purpose of this thesis is to explore the enterprise information lifecycle management policies, on the production model CTO of the Taiwan-based notebook OEM manufacturers importance. The other purpose is to summed up the steps to implement SAP Archiving System.
