Abstract:	本計畫之目的在於研究利用圖形(Graph)結構及知識(Knowledge feature)特徵為基礎,發展一套無筆順限制(Stroke orderfree)且可自由連筆的線上手寫中文文字辨認系統,以期能突破長久以來在此研究上之瓶頸.對於字數眾多的中文文字整理出具代表性的字根類別(Radical type),並使用圖形結構表示方法來代表描述這些字根.字根特徵在中文文字識別上是一向很重要的特徵, 其不只可吸收筆劃順序之變動,更可以吸收不同形式但同義之字根,再線上手寫中文文字識別中,在無筆順限制之下如何抽取出每一字中之字根是本研究之主要工作.配合知識之引導與應用來施行字根之抽取與細分類,而鑒於長期以來在文字識別領域中,比對資料庫之建立頗費人工,更計劃發展一套能自助學習字根圖形結構並建立圖形表示法的自動學習系統. 研究期間：8208 ~ 8307
