This paper describes a class of(d,k) block codes with minimum Hamming distance d(min)=3, i.e., with single error correcting capability. The construction of(d,k) codes with d(min)=3 is based upon dklr-sequences and cyclic Hamming codes. The coding rate and the decoding procedure of the constructed codes are also provided.
