論文摘要 目前多數關切國際科技合作的文獻,主要以專利與研發投資為論證基礎。然不能忽視國際合著論文作為國際科技合作觀察重點,藉以衡量一國跨境知識交流與合作。本研究以台灣與中國大陸學術合作為個案,以兩岸合著論文為觀察重點,強調先進國家建構的國際學術平台在兩岸學術交流與科技合作所扮演的角色。本研究分析資料取自SCIE與SSCI資料庫,資料期間從1990年到2009年,涵括22個學門領域。主要發現如下: 1.兩岸之間的學術合作在過往20年的期間,以理學領域的學門(物理學、數學、化學、地球科學和太空科學)所佔之比重為最多,在此基礎之上,兩岸學術交流有逐漸朝向台灣專精的工學領域學門之趨勢,即工程學、材料科學和電腦科學。 2.兩岸學術合作若納入國際學術平台,在論文產出的學術績效相對較高,亦即兩岸與國際合著論文在平均被引用次數的表現高於兩岸雙邊合著之表現。 3.國際學術平台有助於兩岸合作網絡成員越趨多元化且納入的合作機構數量相對增加。Abstract The purpose of this thesis is to emphasis the role played by advance countries in cross-strait scientific collaboration and academic interchange. The data of this thesis are the co-authorship articles from SCIE and SSCI databases, and they are including 22 disciplines from 1990-2009. The main discovery of this thesis are as follow: 1.In past 20 years, the majority of co-authorship articles between Taiwan and Mainland China are in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences and Space sciences, but the proportion of the articles in Engineering , Material Sciences and Computer Sciences is gradually increasing. 2.The academic performance of the cross-strait co-authorships if including other countries is better than those simply between Taiwan and Mainland China. 3.The cross-strait co-authorships if including other countries could enhance the members of the cross-strait collaborative team more diversified and the number of the cross-strait institutes more increased.
